Chinese Pailou 牌樓 / 牌坊, or Chinese architectural arch, is one of the most important Chinese architecture elements. Originally designed to be an entry arch for a house, pailou were really elaborated later from Tang, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Now the existing pailou you can see these days serves as a landmark, a logo for a particular district.
You can build two pailou from two sets 80104 and 80105, but they are not too accurate. I researched and built my own one, using mostly the parts from the two sets. With the correct proportion, equally divided shoulder parts and elaborated brackets, this pailou stands again with majesty.
